ISEEN is the leader and steward of experiential education in independent schools. Through our annual institutes and other opportunities, we share information, facilitate connections amongst innovative educators, and advocate for the expansion of experiential education.

Global Education Benchmark Group (GEBG) Founding member and executive committee member since 2008

GEBG’s mission is to 1) identify best practices in global education by collecting, analyzing, and sharing data from GEBG members and 2) promote the development of global citizens in independent schools and beyond through global curriculum, experiences, and institutional support. Global Education develops the knowledge, skills, and empathic orientation required to understand multiple perspectives and to thrive in increasingly interconnected world systems. A global citizen acts to promote the common good locally, nationally, and internationally.

National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Member and conference presenter since 2002

The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) is a nonprofit membership association that provides services to more than 1,700 schools and associations of schools in the United States and abroad, including 1,400 independent private K-12 schools in the U.S. The mission of NAIS is to empower independent schools and the students they serve.

Global Washington Member and task force participant since 2011

Global Washington supports the global development community in Washington state that is working to create a healthier and more equitable world. We promote our members, bring them together to spark new ideas and partnerships, and build a network of leaders improving lives around the world.
